ROAD HAZARDS.

A hazard can be any possible source of danger on or near the road that could lead to a crash, and it can come from any direction.

Is Embarambamba a Road hazard in relation to Road Safety?

Embarambamba is a famous Gospel artist who has been making headlines all over the media platforms. Our attention was drawn when we saw this photo making rounds on social media warning drivers of Embarambamba's embedding dangers

We taught it was all fun until we came a cross this video

We have different types of hazards which include:

Ø  Permanent Hazard

Ø  Temporary Hazard

Ø  Human caused Hazards

Human caused Hazards can be a result of human intent, error or failed systems that cause destruction, injuries or loss of life.

Observing the video keenly, he runs to the roads almost getting hit by motorcyclist, the rider suddenly swerves to the right to avoid knocking him, luckily he escapes and runs back to the forest. The rider is not in proper safety gear!. 

However we may argue that this was stage managed and acted, but what about the unaware road users who knew nothing at all, assuming there was an approaching traffic and the rider swerves suddenly probably this could lead into a tragic accident resulting to maybe loss of lives, damage and property destruction.

The actions on the road may as well cause a destruction to drivers which is really dangerous.

We wish to send our special message to the Artist, that we really love him a lot, we love his originality, we love his content but please when it comes to the live roads we really need to take extreme care,. Accidents Don't Just Happen but They are caused.

Road safety is a shared Responsibility and we all need to carry our responsibility with gravity.
